Through the opening races, Racing Bulls secured five double points finishes, with Liam Lawson delivering standout performances, including sixth-place results at both Monaco and Great Britain. Rookie driver Arvid Lindblad has also contributed, scoring points on his debut in Australia and achieving the team’s best qualifying position of seventh at the Belgian Grand Prix. In qualifying matchups, Lawson leads Lindblad 6-5, while in race finishes, Lawson holds an 8-3 advantage.
The team’s highlight came after the Hungarian Grand Prix when they overtook Alpine to claim fifth in the Teams’ Championship, a milestone emphasised by Team Principal Alan Permane. Conversely, the Miami Grand Prix weekend proved challenging, with Lindblad missing the Sprint race due to a technical issue and Lawson retiring following contact with Alpine’s Pierre Gasly.
Both drivers have expressed a focus on steady points accumulation and incremental improvement rather than targeting specific championship outcomes. Maintaining fifth place would represent the best-ever finish in the team’s history, regardless of its previous identities as Toro Rosso, AlphaTauri, or RB.
Looking ahead, Alan Permane has conveyed confidence in the team’s ability to return stronger after the summer pause, starting with the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort. The Racing Bulls’ approach remains centred on consistent performance and building on the progress made during the first half of the season.
