Mercedes continues to face challenges in resolving energy deployment issues affecting George Russell’s straight-line speed during the 2026 Formula 1® season. Despite efforts to adjust his driving style, Russell has struggled to match the pace of his teammate Kimi Antonelli on circuits that demand efficient power unit performance.
