Audi has introduced a special one-off livery for their car at the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix, marking the manufacturer’s first night race appearance in the Formula 1® calendar. This unique design pays tribute to Singapore’s cultural heritage and the distinctive atmosphere of the city’s iconic night race.
The new livery features Audi’s signature Titanium Silver Grey base, enhanced with a traditional Peranakan pattern inspired by Singapore’s rich cultural identity. This intricate design is applied to the sidepods and rear wing of the R26 car, creating a striking visual that reflects the transition from daylight to twilight, a key characteristic of the Singapore Grand Prix. The drivers Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto will also wear race suits that incorporate this special pattern during the event.
This initiative is part of Audi’s broader engagement strategy titled “The Art of Influence,” which aims to connect with fans both at the circuit and online. Alongside the livery reveal, Audi launched a limited-edition Adidas capsule collection, further extending the theme beyond the track and into lifestyle products.
Stefano Battiston, Audi’s Chief Brand and Commercial Officer, highlighted the importance of this integrated approach in fostering a closer connection between the team and its supporters. The special livery and associated activities are designed to celebrate the unique setting of the Singapore night race while enhancing fan engagement in the region.
The Singapore Grand Prix is well known for its vibrant atmosphere and challenging street circuit, and Audi’s one-off design aims to capture this essence visually. By blending cultural motifs with the team’s traditional colours, Audi offers a fresh and respectful nod to the host city’s identity.
Both Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto will carry this design on their cars and suits, making the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix a distinctive occasion for the team. The livery stands out not only as a branding exercise but also as a celebration of the sport’s global reach and the cultural diversity of its venues.
This special livery reflects Audi’s commitment to creating meaningful connections with fans through creative and culturally relevant initiatives. The Singapore Grand Prix weekend will showcase this unique design as part of the team’s broader efforts to engage with the Formula 1® community in innovative ways.
