FansBRANDS® Team |

Audi has unveiled plans for a new Formula 1® campus located in Hinwil, Switzerland, marking a significant step in expanding their presence within the sport. This development reflects Audi Revolut Formula 1® Team’s commitment to strengthening its infrastructure and long-term ambitions in Formula 1®.

The new campus is situated less than one kilometre from the current Hinwil base on Zurichstrasse. Partial operations began during the summer of 2026, with the full facility expected to be completed by 2030. Meanwhile, the existing Wildbachstrasse site will continue to serve as the manufacturing hub and house the wind tunnel facility. Additionally, the development and production of Formula 1® power units will remain in Neuburg, Germany, while the technical centre in Bicester, UK, will also be retained.

Audi’s takeover of the Sauber team and factory at the start of the 2026 season laid the foundation for this expansion. The new campus is designed to embody the culture and ambitions of the Audi Revolut Formula 1® Team, aiming to create an environment that fosters collaboration and innovation. Team Principal Mattia Binotto highlighted the importance of the facility in attracting and retaining world-class talent, which is critical for the team’s progress in the highly competitive Formula 1® landscape.
